About Haven Lodge
At Haven Lodge, we provide residential care for adults in the heart of Clacton on Sea, Essex. We are a care home that genuinely knows our residents, and we take time to understand each person as an individual rather than simply as someone who needs support. Our team works with people living with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs, as well as offering respite care for those who need a short break from their usual living arrangements, or whose families need some time to rest. Whether someone comes to us for a longer stay or a shorter period of support, we aim to make sure they feel comfortable, respected, and at home. We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the honest, consistent work our staff carry out every day. It means a great deal to us, though we always look at how we can keep improving and listening to the people who live here. Clacton on Sea is a place with a lot of character, and being part of this community matters to us. Residents are encouraged to stay connected with local life in whatever way suits them, whether that is getting out and about or simply enjoying what the area has to offer closer to home. What we try to do at Haven Lodge is straightforward. We want people to feel safe, to have a say in how they live their lives, and to be treated with real dignity day to day. Families can be confident that their loved ones are genuinely known and looked after here, not just cared for in a general sense. We are always happy to speak with anyone who wants to find out more about what we offer or whether Haven Lodge might be the right fit for someone they care about.
