About Linden Cottage
Here at Linden Cottage, we provide residential care for adults in the heart of Uckfield, East Sussex. We are a small, close knit community where the people we support are genuinely at the centre of everything we do. We welcome individuals with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also offer respite care, which can make an enormous difference to both individuals and their families, whether that is for a planned break or to respond to a more immediate need. Whatever brings someone through our door, we aim to make them feel at home from the very first day. Our team takes the time to get to know each person properly, understanding not just their care needs but their preferences, routines, and the things that matter most to them. We believe good care is built on real relationships and genuine respect, and that shows in the way we go about our day to day work. We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the consistency and thoughtfulness our staff bring to their roles. That said, we never see a Good rating as a reason to stop improving. We regularly reflect on how we do things and listen carefully to feedback from the people we support, their families, and our staff. Linden Cottage is the kind of place where people are encouraged to live as independently as possible, to pursue the activities they enjoy, and to feel safe and valued. If you are considering care for yourself or someone you love and would like to find out more about whether we might be the right fit, we would be very happy to have a conversation. Please do not hesitate to get in touch.
