Here at Oakleigh, we are a care home based in the heart of Dawlish, Devon, and we are proud to offer a warm, homely environment where the people we support feel genuinely valued and understood. We specialise in residential care, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, as well as those living with mental health needs. We also provide respite care, giving families and carers the reassurance of knowing their loved ones are in safe, familiar and caring hands when a break is needed. What we do goes beyond meeting day to day needs. We take the time to get to know each person as an individual, understanding their preferences, their history and what matters most to them. Care planning is always person centred, and we work closely with residents, their families and other professionals to make sure support is right for each individual and adapts as their needs change over time. Our team brings a real depth of knowledge across our areas of specialism, and we invest in ongoing training to make sure the support we provide reflects current best practice. The relationships built between our staff and the people we support are at the heart of everything we do here. Dawlish is a lovely part of Devon, and we make the most of the local community and surroundings as part of everyday life at Oakleigh.
