About Forge House Services
Here at Forge House, we provide residential care for adults in the heart of Cullompton, Devon. Our home supports people with learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities, and we work particularly with younger adults who need ongoing care and support in a place that genuinely feels like home. We offer both long term residential placements and shorter respite stays, which gives individuals and their families the chance to experience what life here looks like before making bigger decisions, or simply to have a planned break with the reassurance that their loved one is well looked after. Our approach is straightforward. We get to know each person properly, understanding what matters to them, how they like their day to go, and what support works best for them as an individual. People here have different needs and different personalities, and we think good care starts with actually listening rather than assuming. We want to be honest with prospective residents and families. Our most recent CQC rating is "requires improvement", and we take that seriously. We have been working through the areas identified and making real changes to how we operate. We are committed to being transparent about where we are on that journey, and we welcome anyone to come and visit us, ask questions, and see the home for themselves rather than simply taking our word for it. Cullompton is a friendly market town and our location means residents can stay connected to local life, whether that is getting out into the community or having family visit easily from across Devon. If you would like to find out more about whether Forge House could be the right fit for someone you care about, please do get in touch. We are always happy to have a conversation.
