About Sawley
Here at Sawley, we are proud to offer a warm and welcoming home for the people who live with us, right in the heart of Nottingham, Derbyshire. We understand that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we take that responsibility seriously every single day. We support a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, and those living with a learning disability or autism, mental health needs, or those who require residential care on either a permanent or respite basis. Our respite care provision means that families and carers can take a much needed break, knowing their loved one is in a safe, comfortable and genuinely caring environment. Our team gets to know each person as an individual. We take time to understand their preferences, their routines, their histories and the things that bring them joy. Care planning is done with residents and their families, not just for them, and we regularly review how we can better support each person as their needs change over time. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in a rating of Good, which reflects the consistency and thoughtfulness our staff bring to their work each day. We remain focused on building on that and continuing to listen to feedback from residents, families and those who visit us. If you are considering Sawley for yourself or someone you care about, we warmly encourage you to come and visit us. There is no better way to get a feel for who we are than by spending a little time with us in person. We would love to show you around and answer any questions you might have.
