About Croftfield Residential Care Home
Here at Croftfield Residential Care Home, we are proud to provide a warm and supportive home for older adults in the heart of Carlisle, Cumberland. Our focus is on making sure that every person who comes through our doors feels genuinely valued, comfortable and well looked after, whether they are joining us for a longer term stay or for a period of respite care. We support people with a range of needs, including residential care, dementia care and physical disability. We take the time to get to know each resident as an individual, understanding their preferences, routines and life history, so that the care we offer truly reflects who they are rather than simply addressing a list of needs. For those living with dementia, we work hard to create a calm and familiar environment that helps to reduce anxiety and promote a sense of security and belonging. Respite care is something we take just as seriously as long term support. We understand that coming to an unfamiliar place, even briefly, can feel daunting, so we put real effort into ensuring that short stay residents feel just as welcome and settled as those who live with us permanently. Our team works closely together and genuinely cares about the people they support. There is a real sense of community here, not just among residents but between residents, their families and our staff. We welcome families to be involved and keep communication open, because we know how important it is for loved ones to feel reassured and included. We are pleased to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the commitment of our whole team to maintaining high standards of care every day. If you would like to find out more or come and visit us, we would love to hear from you.
