About Jonathan House
Here at Jonathan House, we are proud to offer residential care in the heart of Bristol for people who need genuine, thoughtful support as part of their everyday lives. We specialise in supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs, and we also offer respite care for those who need a short break or a temporary place to stay while longer term arrangements are made. We understand that coming into a care home, whether for a short stay or a longer one, is a significant step, and we try to make that transition as comfortable and straightforward as possible for everyone involved. Our approach centres on getting to know each person as an individual. We take time to understand what matters to people, what their routines look like, what helps them feel settled, and how they like to spend their days. That understanding shapes how we provide support, rather than fitting people around a fixed way of doing things. We have been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the hard work of our staff and the trust that residents and their families place in us. We do not take that trust for granted. We know that families want to feel confident their loved one is in a safe, respectful environment where their wellbeing genuinely comes first. Jonathan House is part of the Bristol community, and that connection matters to us. We encourage residents to stay involved in the wider community where possible, whether that means local activities, maintaining family relationships, or simply getting out and about in the city. If you would like to find out more about whether Jonathan House could be the right fit for you or someone you care about, please do get in touch. We are always happy to have a conversation.
