About Elysian Villas

We are a residential home in Bristol supporting adults with learning disabilities and autistic people. The house runs as a household. People living here have their own rooms and their own belongings, and they take part in deciding how the place works: what is cooked, when meals happen, what gets bought and what everyone does at the weekend. That may sound like a small sort of choice, but for adults who have often had very little say in daily life it is the heart of what we are trying to do. Support is arranged around each person and what they want to be able to do. For some that means work, college or volunteering. For others it is about getting out regularly, keeping up with family, managing money with help, learning to do more in the kitchen or around the house, or having staff who understand how they communicate and what unsettles them. Predictability matters a great deal here, so we keep staffing as consistent as we can and we try not to change things without warning and explanation. We also offer respite stays, which can give a family a planned break while the person stays somewhere settled and properly supported. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. If you are looking for a place for yourself or someone in your family, please come and visit. We will be honest about whether we can support the needs you describe.
