About Cintre House
Cintre House is a residential home in Bristol for adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults and people with mental health needs, including younger adults. We offer planned respite stays alongside longer placements. We are deliberately small, which means the people living here know each other and know the staff, and nobody has to explain themselves from scratch every time they come downstairs. For a lot of people that takes some pressure off straight away. This is first and foremost somewhere people live. Residents choose how their rooms look, have a genuine say in meals and the shape of the week, and are supported to keep up the relationships and interests that matter to them. Support is planned around the person rather than around the building. For one resident that means a calm and very predictable week with plenty of warning before anything changes; for another it means being out and about in Bristol, keeping up with work, college, clubs and family. Where we support people with mental health needs, we work in step with community teams, social workers and families, and aim to be the steady and reliable element in somebody's week. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are considering Cintre House for yourself or for someone you support, please get in touch and come and look round properly.
