About Franklyn Lodge
At Franklyn Lodge, we provide residential care for younger adults living with learning disabilities and autism, based in the heart of Wembley, Brent. We also offer respite care, giving families and carers a planned break while knowing their loved one is in a safe, familiar and supportive environment. We understand that moving into a care home, or even visiting one for a short stay, can feel like a big step. That is why we take time to get to know each person properly before they arrive, learning about their routines, preferences, communication needs and what matters most to them day to day. Our approach is straightforward: we listen, we adapt, and we make sure the people in our care feel genuinely at home. Supporting people with learning disabilities and autism means recognising that everyone experiences the world differently. We work hard to create an environment that feels calm, consistent and respectful, where people have real choice in how they spend their time and who they spend it with. We do not believe in a one size fits all approach, and we are always looking at how we can do better for each individual. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, and we are proud of that. It reflects the effort our whole team puts in, not just during inspections, but every single day. We take feedback seriously, whether it comes from the people we support, their families or external professionals, and we use it to keep improving. We are part of the local Wembley community and that matters to us. We welcome enquiries from families, social workers and anyone who wants to find out more about whether Franklyn Lodge could be the right fit for someone they care about.
