About Rix House
Here at Rix House, we are a residential care home based in Keighley, Bradford, and we are proud to support the people who live with us every single day. We specialise in supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, and we also work with younger adults who need a caring and structured environment to thrive. Alongside our permanent residential places, we offer respite care for those who need a short break or a temporary stay, whether that is planned in advance or needed at shorter notice. We understand that every person who comes through our door has their own story, their own preferences and their own way of experiencing the world, and we take the time to get to know each individual properly. Our team works hard to create a home that genuinely feels like one. We want the people we support to feel comfortable, respected and in control of their own lives. That means involving them in decisions about their day, their routines and what matters most to them. It also means maintaining honest and open relationships with families and loved ones, who we see as an important part of the wider support network around each person. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in a rating of good, which we feel reflects the consistency and care our team brings to their work day to day. We are always happy to hear from families, carers or professionals who want to learn more about what we offer or who are thinking about whether Rix House might be the right fit for someone they care about. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us directly and we will do our best to help answer any questions you might have.
