About Bronte View
Bronte View is a residential care home in Keighley supporting adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, most of them younger adults. We also offer respite stays. We are a small house and that is deliberate, because support built around real people works better than support built around a timetable. Everyone who works here knows everyone who lives here, and that makes a practical difference to the quality of what we do. What we want is not a tidy home but a home where people get on with their own lives. Some of the people living here are out most days, at work, at college or with friends, and need us to make that possible and to be there when they come back. Others prefer a steadier, more predictable week and need staff who understand what helps them feel settled. We take real time to learn those patterns, including how someone tells us they are struggling when they cannot say it directly, and we write support plans with the person in words that are theirs. Respite stays are arranged with visits beforehand so nothing about arriving is a surprise. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
