About Combe Lea Community Resource Centre
Combe Lea Community Resource Centre is a care home in Radstock. We provide residential care for older people and younger adults, and we support people living with dementia and people with a physical disability. Respite stays are available alongside longer placements. A good deal of our work is short term. People come to us for a planned break, after a hospital stay, or when a family carer has reached the point of needing genuine rest rather than a few hours off. Those stays are not a lesser version of what we do. Somebody here for two weeks should be welcomed properly, known by name, and supported in the way they are used to rather than fitted into whatever routine the building runs on. We ask people how they like their day to go and we take the answer seriously. When to get up, what to eat, how much company to have, what they want to do for themselves and where they would rather have a hand. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are looking for residential or respite care locally, please get in touch or come and look round. We are happy to answer questions before anybody commits to anything.
