About Brindley Manor Nursing Home
Brindley Manor Nursing Home is in Droitwich, caring for older people who need qualified nursing alongside help with daily life, and for younger adults whose nursing needs are best met in a home like ours. Nurses are on duty day and night, which means medication, wound care and conditions that need watching are managed here and someone who becomes unwell is seen straight away. Many of our residents are living with dementia. We keep the day calm and predictable, keep the same staff working with the same people and take the time to understand what somebody is telling us when speech has become difficult. If a person wants to be up and moving about, we make that safe rather than asking them to sit down. Nursing is the foundation of what we do, but the point of it is an ordinary life. Residents choose when to get up, what they eat, where they sit and who comes to visit, and we work at keeping those choices genuine rather than nominal. Food is cooked here and nobody is hurried through a meal. Respite stays are available for people needing nursing support for a short period, often after a hospital admission, and for family carers who need a proper break. Families are welcome and we would always rather hear a worry early. Please ring us if you would like to visit and meet the nurses on duty.
