About Savernake View Care Home
We are a nursing home in Marlborough, offering care for people who need nursing support alongside help with the ordinary parts of daily life. Qualified nurses are available around the clock, which means changes in someone's health are noticed and acted on early rather than allowed to build. Most of the people who live here are older, and we also support younger adults whose health needs make nursing care necessary. We care for people living with dementia, and we try to build the day around the person, keeping familiar routines going and allowing things to happen at the pace that suits them. Mealtimes, conversation and a bit of fresh air matter as much to how someone feels as any part of their care plan. We offer respite stays as well. Sometimes that is a planned break for a family carer who has been managing at home for a long stretch, and sometimes it is a period of recovery after illness or a spell in hospital. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We are glad of it, and we are more interested in what residents and families tell us week by week than in resting on a single judgement. If you are considering a nursing home in this part of Wiltshire, do come and see us. Looking round, meeting staff and talking to the people who live here will tell you more than any description can.
