Safe
Inspectors found the service was safe. Systems and processes made sure that any concerns were reported to the appropriate authorities without delay.
Effective
Inspectors found that people had access to health and social care services as needed. Staff and managers worked openly and professionally with outside professionals. This helped people receive a coordinated and consistent service.
Caring
Inspectors found that staff showed deep compassion, understanding and empathy. People said they felt they mattered and that staff respected them. They said their privacy, confidentiality and dignity were maintained. Staff and people knew each other well.
Responsive
Inspectors found that people received care that met and exceeded their needs. Staff and managers went above and beyond to make sure care matched people's preferences. Activities were described as innovative, and people were involved in planning them. End of life care was delivered with great thought and compassion, with the aim of a dignified and pain free death.
Well-led
Inspectors found that the management had instilled an outstanding culture of care and support. People were extremely confident in the management of the service. Management and staff had received awards that recognised their commitment and dedication.
