About Lanesborough House Care Home
We are Lanesborough House Care Home, a nursing home near Birmingham. We care for older people and younger adults who need qualified nursing alongside support with daily living, including people living with dementia, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with a visual or hearing impairment. Respite stays are available. Nurses on duty at every hour are what allow us to look after health needs as they change. Medication, wound care, continence, pain and the increasing frailty that often comes with great age can all be managed here, so nobody has to move again simply because their needs have grown. Alongside the nursing we work to keep ordinary life going. People get up when they want, eat what they like, choose where to sit and keep their own belongings and habits. We take the trouble to learn a person's history and preferences, because staff who know somebody well are the ones who notice quickly when they are not themselves. Where access or communication need proper attention, they get it rather than being treated as an afterthought. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Relatives are welcome at any reasonable hour. Please ring us if you would like to arrange a visit.
