About Willow Rose Care Home
Willow Rose is a nursing home in Willenhall supporting older people who need nursing care, including many living with dementia, and adults living with a physical disability. We support younger adults as well as older residents, and we offer respite stays. Registered nurses on site mean health needs are met here rather than becoming a reason for someone to be moved. Medication, wounds, continence, long term conditions and end of life care are all managed in the home by staff who already know the person. We make a point of not running a single timetable for everyone. Somebody in their forties living here has different interests, routines and expectations from a resident thirty years older, and pretending otherwise would be lazy. For residents living with a physical disability we put real work into positioning, seating, equipment and mobility, because those things quietly decide whether a day is comfortable and how much of it belongs to the person. Our dementia care rests on familiar faces, a predictable day and a calm building, and on following the person rather than correcting them. Respite stays are available, including recovery periods after hospital. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was good.
