About Prema Court
Prema Court in Trafford provides nursing care for adults living with mental health conditions. Combining mental health support with nursing care takes a particular kind of service, and that is what we are set up to be. Registered nurses are on duty here at all hours, and our staff are trained for the specific needs of the people they support rather than in general terms. We work closely with the mental health professionals involved in each person's care so that the approach is consistent and nothing gets lost between services. What we try to provide, above all, is stability. For many of the people who come to us, very little has been settled for a long time. Here the days are predictable, the staff are familiar and changes are talked through rather than sprung on people. Everybody has their own room and their own routine, and support is planned with the person rather than decided about them. Alongside the clinical side, the ordinary business of life gets attention too. Cooking, looking after your own space, managing money, keeping appointments and getting out are things we work on alongside people, because that is what rebuilds confidence. Respite can be arranged where appropriate. If you are looking for a placement, please contact us and we will assess honestly.
