About Acorn Court Care Home
Acorn Court Care Home is a nursing home in Redhill, Surrey. Having qualified nurses on duty means we can care for people whose health needs go beyond what a residential home can safely manage, and it usually means we can carry on caring for somebody as their needs increase rather than asking them to move again. We care for older people who need nursing support, including many living with dementia and many with physical disabilities, and we support people living with sight or hearing loss and some younger adults whose needs are met well here. We also offer respite stays for people needing nursing care for a limited period. Clinically we put our attention where it counts: medication, skin integrity, nutrition and hydration, pain, safe moving and handling, and spotting early when somebody's condition is changing. We work closely with the GP practice and the community health teams who support the home. The other half of the job is making this a place worth living in. People have their own rooms and their own things, choose when to get up and what to eat, and can have company or quiet as they prefer. Families are welcome at any reasonable hour. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please contact us to arrange a proper look around.
