About Hartfield House Care Home
Hartfield House Care Home is a nursing home in Leatherhead, Surrey. We provide nursing care for older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia, and we offer respite stays for those who need care for a shorter period. Having registered nurses on the team means we can look after people whose health needs are complex, and it means we can usually carry on caring for somebody as those needs change. Families tell us that this is what they want most: an end to the moving, and confidence that whatever happens next can be managed here. We keep the home unhurried. People wake in their own time, eat what they enjoy and spend the day in company or quietly as they choose. Rooms belong to the residents and we treat them as private. For people living with dementia, we work from knowledge of the person, their history and their habits, keeping the surroundings calm and giving time rather than instruction. We stay in close contact with GPs and community teams so that changes in health are noticed early and hospital admissions happen only when they are genuinely needed. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are looking at nursing care in Surrey, please arrange to visit, meet our nurses and carers and ask whatever you need to ask.
