About Gardens Care Home
Bagshot Gardens Care Home is a nursing home in Bagshot, Surrey. We care for older people who need qualified nursing alongside everyday support, for residents living with dementia, for people with physical disabilities and with a visual or hearing impairment, and for younger adults with nursing needs. We also offer respite stays. Registered nurses are on duty here at all hours, which is what allows us to manage wounds, medication, pain relief, continence, long term conditions and end of life care on site. We work with GPs, community specialists and hospital teams so that decisions get made calmly and in good time rather than in an emergency, and it means people do not have to move on as their needs increase. Nursing is only part of the picture. We work hard to keep this feeling like a home. Residents choose when to get up, what to eat, where to sit and how much company they want. Rooms hold people's own furniture and photographs, and visitors are welcome without appointment. For residents living with dementia we keep the surroundings familiar and staffing consistent, and we take the time to understand what lies behind distress rather than simply managing it. We keep families properly informed, particularly when someone becomes unwell. At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Please arrange to come and look round.
