We care for older adults, including those living with dementia, and we also support younger adults and people with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments. Whether someone moves in with us on a permanent basis or comes for a short respite stay, we aim to ensure that their time here is comfortable, dignified and as fulfilling as possible. We understand that choosing a nursing home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we do not take that trust lightly. Our nursing team is on hand around the clock, which means residents and their loved ones can feel reassured that clinical needs are met promptly and with care. Beyond the nursing side of things, we put a great deal of thought into daily life here. Meaningful activity, good food, familiar routines and the chance to maintain friendships and family connections all matter to us. We were pleased to receive a rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection. That reflects the hard work of our whole team, though we always look for ways to learn and improve. If you are considering Stanshawes Care Home for yourself or someone close to you, we would warmly encourage you to come and visit us.
