About Ardenlea Grove Care Home
Ardenlea Grove Care Home is a nursing home in Solihull. We care for older people who need qualified nursing alongside help with daily life, for residents living with dementia and for people whose physical disability requires skilled support. We also care for some younger adults with complex health needs. Having nurses on duty at all hours means we can manage wound care, continence and catheter needs, diabetes, pain relief and the sort of health monitoring that would otherwise send somebody back and forth to hospital. It also means that when a person's health declines we can usually go on caring for them here, among their own belongings, instead of moving them at the worst possible time. Dementia nursing asks for patience above all. We keep the environment calm and the routine predictable, we learn each person's history from their family and we give people time to find their words rather than finishing sentences for them. Respite stays are available for those needing nursing support for a short period, including after a hospital discharge. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Families in Solihull are welcome to visit at whatever hour suits them. Please ring and we will show you round.
