About Bradeney House Nursing & Care Home
Bradeney House Nursing and Care Home is in Bridgnorth, and we provide nursing care alongside daily support for older people and younger adults. We care for people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, people with a physical disability and people with sight or hearing loss, and we take respite admissions for planned short stays and for recovery after illness. With qualified nurses on duty, health needs are met in the place people live. Medication, wound and pressure area care, continence support, management of long term conditions and careful, unhurried care at the end of life all happen here, alongside close working with visiting general practitioners, district nurses, community mental health teams and therapists. The nursing is the foundation, and the rest is what makes it a home. Meals are cooked here and people eat what they actually like. Mornings run at each resident's own speed. Rooms carry people's own furniture and photographs where there is space, and visitors come and go without fuss. For residents with dementia we keep the day familiar and follow the person. For those with sensory loss, our staff say who they are, explain what they are doing and leave belongings exactly where they were left. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. We would rather you visited at a time of your own choosing, watched how people here are spoken to and asked us whatever you need to know.
