About Veronica House
Veronica House is a nursing home in Tipton, in the borough of Sandwell, where qualified nurses are on hand at all hours alongside our care team. People usually come to us because health needs have grown beyond what can be managed at home, and our job is to take that pressure off while keeping daily life recognisable. We provide nursing and personal care for older people, for younger adults, and for people living with dementia. We also support residents who have a learning disability or who are autistic, people managing mental health conditions, and people living with a physical disability. Nursing care here means careful attention to the practical things, wounds, medication, mobility, nutrition and pain, but it also means noticing mood, appetite and the small changes that often come before anything shows up in a chart. We want the place to feel like a home rather than a ward. Visitors are welcome without appointment, rooms are personalised, and residents decide how much of the day they want to spend in company. Short respite stays are available too, including for people recovering after a spell in hospital. We do not hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission at present, so we would encourage you to come and see for yourself. Visit at a normal time of day, talk to our nurses, and ask us anything you want to know.
