About Kingfisher Court Nursing Home
Here at Kingfisher Court, we are a nursing home based in Middlesbrough, within the Redcar and Cleveland area, and we provide care for a wide range of people with varying needs and circumstances. We support older people, those living with dementia, younger adults, and individuals who require either residential or nursing level care. We also offer respite stays for people who need short term support, whether that is to recover after a hospital admission or to give a family carer some time to rest. Whatever brings someone to us, we aim to make sure they feel genuinely at home from the moment they arrive. Dementia care is a significant part of what we do here, and we work hard to ensure that those living with dementia are treated with patience, dignity and a real understanding of their individual experience. We recognise that no two people are the same, and we try to reflect that in the way we plan and deliver care for each person. We want to be straightforward with anyone considering Kingfisher Court for themselves or a loved one. Our most recent CQC inspection resulted in an overall rating of requires improvement, and we take that seriously. We are actively working through the feedback we received and making the necessary changes to improve the quality and consistency of our care. We believe in being honest rather than simply presenting a glossy picture, and we are committed to getting things right for the people who live with us. If you would like to visit us, ask questions, or simply have a conversation about whether Kingfisher Court might be the right fit, we would be very happy to hear from you. Our door is always open and we welcome families who want to see the home for themselves before making any decisions.
