Here at Oak Manor, we are proud to be a trusted nursing home at the heart of the Dereham community in Norfolk. We provide a genuine home for the people who live with us, and everything we do is shaped around making daily life as comfortable, meaningful and dignified as possible. We care for older people, those living with dementia, and younger adults who require nursing level support. We also offer respite care, which gives family members and regular carers the opportunity to take a break, knowing their loved one is in safe and capable hands. Whether someone joins us for a short stay or makes Oak Manor their permanent home, we treat every person as an individual with their own history, preferences and personality. Nursing care sits at the core of what we offer. Our team works closely together to make sure that clinical needs are met without the environment ever feeling clinical. We want Oak Manor to feel like a real home, warm and familiar, not a medical setting. For those living with dementia, we take particular care to create routines and surroundings that feel reassuring and consistent, helping to reduce anxiety and support wellbeing day to day. We were pleased to receive a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the consistent effort our whole team puts in. We do not take that rating for granted and we continue to listen to residents, families and staff to look for ways to improve.
