About All Hallows Neuro Rehabilitation Centre
All Hallows Neuro Rehabilitation Centre, near Bungay, provides nursing care and rehabilitation for people living with the effects of neurological conditions and brain injury. We care for older people and for younger adults, and we also offer respite stays. Rehabilitation is the part of our work that sets us apart from an ordinary nursing home. Somebody coming to us after a stroke, a brain injury or with a progressive neurological condition usually has specific goals, whether that is walking further, managing a transfer, regaining speech, getting dressed independently or simply having a day that is not organised entirely around their condition. We work with physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists so that the therapy and the daily care pull in the same direction rather than sitting in separate compartments. Clinically our attention goes to medication, seizure management where that applies, nutrition and swallowing, skin integrity, pain, positioning and safe moving and handling. Equipment, wheelchairs and seating get real attention, because they decide what somebody can actually do. We also support people living with dementia and people living with sight or hearing loss. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to discuss a referral.
