About Lepton Heights Health Care
We are a nursing home in Huddersfield, caring for people who need qualified nursing support alongside help with the everyday parts of life. Nurses are available at any hour, so a change in someone's health is noticed and acted on early rather than left to become serious. Most of the people who live here are older, and we also care for younger adults whose health needs mean nursing care is necessary. We support people living with dementia, where knowing the person properly, their history, habits and what settles them, does more good than any technique applied to a stranger. We also care for people living with mental health needs, offering patient company on the harder days, and people with a physical disability, working alongside therapists and community health teams so that equipment and comfort are properly considered. Respite stays are available, whether that is a planned break for a family carer or a period of recovery after illness or a hospital stay. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission. We would rather tell you that plainly than let it pass unmentioned, and we would encourage you to come and look at the home, meet the nursing team and ask us whatever you need to ask. Please get in touch if you would like to arrange a visit.
