About The White House Nursing Home
We are a nursing home in New Malden, caring for older people and for younger adults who need nursing support. That includes people living with dementia, people with mental health needs, people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss. We also take respite bookings for people who need nursing care for a period rather than permanently. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are proud of it, though we are aware that a rating describes what inspectors found on particular days and that the job is to keep earning it. What sits behind it is fairly unglamorous. Knowing the people who live here properly. Noticing changes early. Writing things down and acting on them. Looking after the staff so that they stay, because a team that stays is the single biggest advantage a nursing home can have. People come to us with complicated health needs, and the point of having nurses here around the clock is that those needs are met without somebody having to move again or spend their life going back and forth to hospital. Beyond that, we want the days to be worth having and not simply safe. Families are welcome at any reasonable hour and we would much rather you came and saw the place. Please contact us to arrange a visit.
