About Court Care Home
We are Havering Court Care Home, a nursing home in Romford. We provide nursing care for adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, for people with physical disabilities and people with a visual or hearing impairment, and for older people and younger adults. Respite stays are available. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement, and we would rather tell you that ourselves than have you find it elsewhere. We have worked through the findings in detail, changed how care is planned, recorded and reviewed, and strengthened the way we supervise and support our staff. Our progress is being monitored, and we give families and commissioners the same account of it that we give the regulator. What we are working to protect in the meantime is the everyday experience of living here. Having qualified nursing available means health needs can be met without somebody having to move on to get them looked after. Around that, our attention goes on routine, communication and what each person actually wants from their week. Where change or noise is difficult, we keep things predictable and prepare carefully for anything unusual. If you are considering us for someone, please come and see the home and ask about the rating directly. We will answer fully rather than reassuringly.
