About Magnolia House
Here at Magnolia House, we provide nursing home care in the heart of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, for people who need a little more support in later life or during a period of recovery. We care for older adults living with nursing needs, as well as those affected by dementia, and we also support younger adults who require residential nursing care. For families who need a short break or a planned period of support, we offer respite stays too, which we approach with exactly the same level of attention as our longer term arrangements. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, and we are genuinely proud of that. It reflects the hard work of our whole team and the trust that residents and their families place in us every day. We do not take that trust lightly. What we try to get right, above all else, is the everyday experience of living here. That means knowing each person as an individual, understanding their routines and preferences, and making sure they feel comfortable, respected and at home. For those living with dementia, this is especially important, and our team has the knowledge and experience to offer the right kind of care and reassurance throughout each stage of the condition. Tewkesbury itself is a lovely place to be based, and wherever possible we enjoy making the most of the local community, whether that is through visitors coming to us or residents getting out and about when they are able. If you are considering Magnolia House for yourself or for someone you love, we would always encourage you to come and visit us, have a look around and ask whatever questions you have. We would rather you felt completely comfortable with your choice than simply take our word for it.
