Safe
Inspectors found improvements were needed to the management of risk, and CQC identified a breach in this area. Incidents and accidents were recorded on forms but were not in people's care plans or checked for causes, trends or themes. Staff were also not checking how well pain relief medicine worked. Inspectors also found there were enough staff, staff were recruited safely and the home was clean.
Well-led
Inspectors found systems to check the quality and safety of the service were in place. However, some people's documentation needed to improve so staff had up to date information. Incident forms were completed, but there was a lack of overview, analysis and follow up. Incidents and events had not been reported to CQC as legally required since July 2021. CQC identified a breach in relation to good governance.
