About Brooklands Nursing Home
We are a nursing home in Forest Row, East Sussex, caring for older people and for adults with physical disabilities who need qualified nursing support. Registered nurses are on duty day and night, alongside care staff who know the people here well and notice when something is not quite right. Nursing care covers a great deal. Wound care, help with continence, managing long term conditions, supporting somebody through a period of recovery, and, when the time comes, care at the end of life given gently and without fuss. Whenever it is safe to do so we would far rather look after a person here, among people they know, than send them somewhere unfamiliar. The setting helps too. Forest Row is quiet, and that quiet matters more than people expect when somebody is unwell or tires easily. Families visit freely, and we are glad when they do, since relatives often notice a change in a person before we do. We offer respite and short stays as well as permanent nursing places, which can be useful after a hospital admission or when a carer at home needs a break. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated the home Good. If you are looking at nursing care in this part of East Sussex, please contact us and arrange to come and see the home for yourself.
