About Hannahwood Mews
Here at Hannahwood Mews, we provide nursing home care in the heart of Ivybridge, Devon, and we are proud to support a wide range of people within our community and beyond. We care for adults with a variety of needs, including those living with learning disabilities or autism, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also welcome younger adults and offer respite care for those who need a short break from their usual arrangements, as well as support for their families and carers. Whatever brings someone to us, we work hard to make sure they feel genuinely at home from the moment they arrive. Our nursing team is qualified to provide clinical care alongside the everyday personal support that makes life comfortable and meaningful. We believe that good nursing care is not just about health outcomes but about knowing the person in front of you, understanding their preferences, their history, and what matters most to them on any given day. We were pleased to receive a rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection, and we take that responsibility seriously. It reflects the consistent effort our whole team puts into every shift, not just during inspection periods, but as a matter of course. Ivybridge is a lovely part of Devon, and we think our setting reflects that. We are a relatively small, community rooted home, which means we can offer a level of familiarity and continuity that larger settings sometimes struggle to provide. Staff and residents get to know one another properly, and that matters enormously in the kind of care we deliver. If you are looking for nursing care for yourself or a loved one and would like to find out more, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We are always happy to have a conversation.
