About Bay Court Nursing Home
We are a nursing home in Budleigh Salterton, Devon, caring for older people who need nursing support. We also welcome people for respite stays, whether that is planned in advance so a family carer can have a break, or arranged at shorter notice when somebody needs a period of nursing care after an illness or a spell in hospital. Having qualified nurses here at all hours means that health needs which are complicated or liable to change can be looked after without somebody having to move again, or spend their time travelling back and forth to hospital. That is what brings most families to us. What keeps them content is simpler. Whether the staff are kind, whether anybody has time to sit down for a few minutes, whether their relative seems settled when they visit. The people who live here have had long and varied lives, and a nursing home works best when it makes room for that rather than flattening everybody into the same routine. We ask about how somebody has always run their day, what they enjoy and who they want to see, and we build the care around it. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Families are welcome and we would much rather you came and saw the place for yourself. Please contact us and we will arrange a time for you to visit.
