About Brookholme Croft
Brookholme Croft is a nursing home in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Because we have qualified nurses on duty, we can care for people whose health needs are beyond what a residential home can safely manage, and we can usually carry on caring for somebody as those needs grow rather than asking them to move again. We care for older people who need nursing support, including many living with dementia and many with physical disabilities. We also support people living with mental ill health and people living with sight or hearing loss, along with some younger adults whose needs are complex. Respite stays are available for people needing nursing care for a limited period. Clinically our attention goes where it counts: medication, skin integrity, nutrition and hydration, pain, safe moving and handling, and acting early when a condition is changing. We work closely with the GP practice and the community health and mental health teams who support the home. Beyond the clinical side, this is where people live. Residents keep their own rooms and their own belongings, choose when to get up and what to eat, and can have company or quiet as they prefer. Families are welcome at any reasonable hour. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please contact us and arrange a proper look around.
