About Aspen Court Care Home
Here at Aspen Court Care Home, we provide nursing care for people in Derby and the surrounding area. We are a nursing home that supports older people, those living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and younger adults who need a higher level of care. We also offer respite stays for those who need a short break from their usual arrangements, or whose families need some time to rest. We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a person and their family will ever make. We do not take that lightly. From the moment someone contacts us, we aim to be straightforward, honest and genuinely helpful, whether they are looking for a permanent place or something more short term. Our nursing team works closely with residents, families and visiting healthcare professionals to make sure that each person receives care that is shaped around them. Dementia care in particular requires real thought and consistency, and we work hard to create an environment where residents living with dementia feel safe, recognised and at ease. We were rated Good by the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection, which reflects the effort our whole team puts in day to day. We are proud of that rating, but we are also aware that it represents a standard we need to maintain and build upon rather than something to simply rest on. Life at Aspen Court is about more than meeting care needs. We want people to feel that this is genuinely their home, somewhere they can have their routines, their preferences and their relationships respected. Families are always welcome, and we encourage them to stay involved in the life of their loved one. If you would like to find out more or come and have a look around, please do get in touch with us.
