About 3L Care
3L Care is a nursing home in Winsford, Cheshire. We care for adults with complex physical disabilities who need qualified nursing support, including many younger adults, and we also offer respite stays. Supporting younger adults with physical disabilities is a different job from running a home for older people, and we try to reflect that. The people who live here have lives to get on with, so alongside the clinical care we put real effort into the practical detail that determines what somebody can actually do. Equipment, wheelchairs, seating, positioning, hoists, transfers and access all matter enormously, and we review them as circumstances change rather than setting them up once and leaving them. Where somebody wants to do a task themselves, more slowly, we let them. Clinically our attention goes where it counts: medication, skin integrity, nutrition and hydration, pain, safe moving and handling, respiratory care where that is needed, and acting early when somebody's condition changes. We work closely with the community health teams and specialists involved in each person's care. Beyond that, this is somebody's home. People choose how their rooms look, decide how their day is spent, come and go, and have visitors when they like. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch and arrange to visit.
