About Aria Court
We are a nursing home in March, caring for people whose needs require qualified nursing alongside help with daily living. We look after older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia and people with physical disabilities. Having registered nurses on duty means medication, pain, wounds, continence and the difficulties people have with eating, drinking and moving can be managed properly and without waiting, and that a change in somebody's health is noticed early. Around that clinical work we try to protect the ordinary business of living: choosing when to get up, what to wear, what to eat and who you want sitting with you. Caring well for a person living with dementia depends less on procedure than on knowing them, so we ask families to tell us about working life, children, music, faith and old habits. Respite stays are available as well as permanent places. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was requires improvement. We would rather tell you that ourselves than leave you to find it later. We are working through the points the inspectors raised, and if you are considering us for somebody close to you we will go through the report with you and answer whatever you want to ask. Please come and see the home as it really is and talk to the people who live here.
