About Cromwell House Care Home
Here at Cromwell House Care Home in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, we provide nursing care for a wide range of people with different needs and circumstances. Our team supports older adults, people living with dementia, younger adults, individuals with learning disabilities or autism, and those who need a shorter stay with us through respite care. We know that choosing a care home, whether for yourself or someone you love, is not a decision anyone takes lightly. We try to make that process as straightforward and honest as possible. From the first conversation you have with us, we aim to give you a clear picture of what life here looks like, what we can offer, and how we work day to day. Our nursing team works alongside care staff to make sure that people with complex or changing health needs are looked after properly and consistently. We take the time to understand each person as an individual, their routines, their preferences, and the things that matter most to them, so that the care we provide actually fits their life rather than asking them to fit around ours. We are currently working through an improvement journey following our most recent CQC inspection, which rated us as requiring improvement. We want to be upfront about that. We have taken the findings seriously and are making real, practical changes across the home. We welcome scrutiny and are committed to being open with residents, families, and regulators about our progress. Cromwell House is a place where people live, not simply a place where they receive care, and we hold that difference at the centre of everything we do. If you would like to visit, ask questions, or simply have a conversation about whether we might be the right fit, please do get in touch. We are always happy to talk.
