About Hilton Park Care Centre
Hilton Park Care Centre is a nursing home in Cambridge. We care for adults who need registered nursing as well as support with everyday life, including older people, people living with dementia, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and younger adults whose health needs call for a nurse on duty at any hour. Nursing cover around the clock is what makes it possible for us to support people whose needs are complex. It covers medication, skin and pressure care, continence and nutrition, and the close observation that catches problems before they become serious. Where somebody is nearing the end of their life, it means comfort and familiar faces rather than a move somewhere unfamiliar. Clinical care on its own is not enough. A nursing home can very easily become a place where the day belongs to the staff rather than to the people living in it, and we push against that. Residents choose when they get up, what they eat, whether they join in and who comes to see them. For younger adults living here we plan around the fact that their week will look nothing like an older resident's, and we say so plainly rather than pretending otherwise. Respite and short stays are available. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please ring us to arrange a visit.
