About Claremount House Care Home
At Claremount House Care Home, we provide nursing care for people in Halifax, Calderdale, and we take that responsibility seriously. We are a nursing home that supports older adults, people living with dementia, individuals with mental health needs, and younger adults who require a higher level of care. We also offer respite care for those who need short term support, whether to recover after a stay in hospital or to give a family carer some time to rest. We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a person or family will ever make, and we do not take that lightly. From the moment someone gets in touch with us, we try to make the process as straightforward and reassuring as possible. We want people to feel comfortable asking questions and taking the time they need before making any decisions. Our team works hard to make sure that every person in our care is treated as an individual. Care plans are built around each person's history, preferences, routines and wishes, and we revisit them regularly to make sure they continue to reflect what matters most to that person. For those living with dementia or complex mental health needs, we understand that consistency, familiarity and thoughtful communication make a real difference day to day. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us as good, and we continue to look at how we can build on that. It reflects the effort that goes into maintaining safe, attentive and respectful care across everything we do. If you would like to find out more about life at Claremount House, or to arrange a visit, we would be very happy to hear from you. We are always glad to welcome people through our doors and show them what we are about.
