Here at Hillside, we provide nursing home care for people in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, and we take real pride in the environment we have built together as a team and community. We support a range of people with different needs, including older adults, those living with dementia, younger adults who require specialist support, and individuals who come to us for respite care. Whether someone joins us for a short stay or makes Hillside their long term home, we aim to make sure they feel genuinely comfortable, respected, and well looked after from the moment they arrive. Our nursing care is at the heart of what we do. For those living with dementia, we understand how important consistency and familiarity are, and we work hard to create a calm and reassuring atmosphere where people can feel safe. Respite care is something we offer with the same level of attention as our longer term care. We know that coming into an unfamiliar setting, even briefly, can feel daunting, so we focus on making people feel at home as quickly as possible. We were pleased to receive a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the effort our whole team puts in every day. That said, we never see a good rating as a reason to stand still. We are always looking at how we can do things better and make life at Hillside as good as it can be for everyone who lives and works here.
