We are a nursing home in Bracknell, providing care for adults who need qualified nursing support alongside help with everyday life. Our registered nurses are on duty throughout the day and night, working closely with a team of carers who know the people they look after well. Many of those living with us are older, though we also care for younger adults whose physical disabilities mean they need nursing input to stay comfortable and well. We manage complex health needs, mobility support, wound care, continence care and medicines, and we work with local GPs, district nursing teams and therapists so that changes in someone's health are picked up quickly rather than left to become urgent. We also offer respite stays. These matter as much to us as our longer term placements, whether a family carer needs a genuine rest or someone is recovering after a stay in hospital and is not yet ready to be at home alone. A short stay here should feel unhurried and properly planned, not like a holding arrangement. Life in the home is built around ordinary things. People choose when to get up, what to eat and how to spend their afternoons, and we encourage visitors at times that suit them rather than times that suit us.
