About Meyer House Nursing and Residential Care Home
Here at Meyer House Nursing and Residential Care Home, we provide a warm and caring environment for older adults living in Erith, Bexley and the surrounding areas. Our home offers a genuine sense of community, where residents are treated with dignity and respect, and where their individual needs are always placed at the heart of everything we do. We specialise in a range of care options, including residential care, nursing care, older person care and respite care. Whether someone is joining us on a short term basis to recover or to give a family carer a well earned break, or moving in with us on a permanent basis, we take the time to understand each person properly before they arrive and continue to get to know them once they are settled in. Respite care is something we take particularly seriously. We know that families sometimes need a little breathing space, and we want them to feel completely at ease leaving their loved one with us, knowing they will be looked after with the same attentiveness they receive at home. Our nursing care provision means we are well placed to support residents with more complex health needs, working closely with health professionals to ensure that clinical care sits comfortably alongside everyday comfort and companionship. We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our whole team puts in day to day. It is not something we treat as a box ticking exercise. We use feedback from residents, families and inspectors to keep improving and to make sure our home continues to be a place people feel good about calling home. If you would like to find out more or come and have a look around, we would be very happy to hear from you.
