About Stanton Court
Here at Stanton Court, we provide nursing home care for older adults in the Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset area. We are proud to have received a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the effort our whole team puts in every day to make sure the people living with us are well looked after and genuinely comfortable in their home. We support residents with a range of needs, including nursing care, dementia care and respite care. For those who need short term respite stays, whether to recover after a hospital admission or to give family carers a much needed break, we aim to make the transition into our home as smooth and stress free as possible. For those who come to live with us permanently, we work hard to understand who they are, what matters to them and how they want their days to look. Dementia care is an area we take seriously. We recognise that living with dementia affects not just the individual but their wider family too, and we try to maintain open, honest communication with everyone involved. Our approach is calm, consistent and focused on the person rather than the condition. Our nursing team provides clinical care around the clock, working closely with GPs, district nurses and other health professionals to make sure medical needs are managed well and responded to promptly. We think the atmosphere of a care home matters just as much as the quality of the care itself. We want Stanton Court to feel warm and familiar, somewhere residents can relax, socialise and continue doing the things they enjoy. If you are considering care for yourself or a loved one, we would warmly encourage you to come and visit us and see the home for yourself.
