About A & M Bewdley Care Services
A & M Bewdley Care supports people across the Kidderminster area in their own homes. We arrange visits around existing routines rather than around what suits a rota, and we aim to keep the same carers going to the same people. We support older people with the everyday tasks that have become harder, and people living with dementia, where continuity and patience are worth more than anything written down. We work with adults managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability and people with sight or hearing loss, where sensible practical adjustments often change how a whole day feels. We also support younger adults, whose expectations of care are usually rather different. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was requires improvement. We would rather set that out ourselves than leave you to come across it elsewhere. We have taken the findings seriously, and our attention has gone to the things families actually notice, which is reliable timekeeping, accurate records and carers who know somebody well enough to spot when something has changed. If you are weighing up home care in this area, we would rather have an honest conversation about where we are now than make promises we cannot keep. Ask us the difficult questions.
