About Advance Warwickshire
We provide support at home across Warwickshire and Worcestershire, working from Droitwich. We support older people and younger adults, including adults with learning disabilities, autistic people and people living with mental health conditions. Our work is about helping people live in their own homes and run their own lives as far as they are able to. In practice that means the unglamorous things that make independence real: managing a tenancy, dealing with letters and bills, handling money, shopping and cooking, keeping appointments, getting to work, college or wherever a person wants to spend their time, and having staff alongside when something feels beyond facing alone. For older people it more often means help with daily life so that somebody can stay in the house they know. We start by asking what a person wants their life to look like rather than arriving with a plan already written. Consistency of staff counts for a great deal, particularly for autistic people and for anyone whose mental health is unsettled, so we keep our teams as settled as we can and explain changes before they happen. We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission and are glad to discuss that openly. If you are looking for support of this kind, please get in touch and we will be honest about what we can offer.
